Teak FSC

One of the most durable although expensive wood type is teak wood. It is ideal for outdoor furniture as it is decay and rot resistant. Additionally, teak wood is termite and pest resistant.
It is a hardwood with a straight grain pattern and is beautiful light honey brown in color. Because of its hardiness and durability, teak is one of the most prized and coveted outdoor furniture materials. Although untreated teak wood furniture tends to turn a dull grayish color when left outside over a period of time, it does not detract from its beauty.
If proper maintenance of teak furniture is done by brushing it with teak oil, the color of the furniture will remain as brilliant as new. Teak furniture is very durable in the outdoor settings and will last for over 50 years.

Eucalyptus FSC

Acacia Wood Is a Sustainable Material. With over 1,300 different varieties available, acacia wood is accessible in almost every market of the world. Many farmers harvest the wood after they have used all of the sap (also known as acacia gum) from the tree. These rapid-growing trees live 20-30 years, and some are removed because they are a nuisance for other plant life in the area. Acacia wood is simply the perfect material for modern solid wood furniture. Acacia wood for furniture comes from heartwood of various types, variable interlocked grain with a medium uniform texture, durable to the elements and resists water penetration. Due to its light color it can be finished in a multitude of ways – takes and holds brushed/painted finishes extremely well. No Bleeding or leaching required – timber completely cured and ready for use and excellent weathering qualities.
